Mollichaff Donkey is a complete fibre feed, formulated especially for donkeys. It contains fibre pellets, dried grass, oat straw, soya oil, chamomile, lemon balm, mint, and a broad vitamin and mineral supplement. Mollichaff Donkey has been formulated under the guidance of some of the UKs leading donkey carers. Magnesium is often deficient in UK soils and is an important factor in the nutritional support of many metabolic processes in the donkey. Deficiency may be associated with glucose intolerance and insulin resistance, both of which are important in the nutritional management of laminitis. Magnesium also plays an important role in maintaining a healthy nervous system. Limestone is added to provide additional calcium for strong bones and healthy growth. Mollichaff Donkey is low in sugar, starch and energy. The energy comes from high quality digestible fibre and oil-based ingredients.
